Itinerary: 4 Days Tour from Agadir

DAY 1: Agadir – Taliouine – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Travel south of Morocco via the Kasbah Ben Haddou, which crosses the capital Saffron Taliouine, at around 8 a.m. Take a coffee break en route to Taznakht, the village that is home to the Moroccan carpet capital. After lunch on location, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, before leaving to join Ouarzazate. If you would like, we can visit the cinema studio before returning to your hotel for supper and spending the night.

DAY 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga

Departure at 8 a.m. for the Erg Chegaga and the vast Moroccan desert via the Tizi-N-Tifntit pass (1760 m); proceed to Agdz city for a sweeping view of the Draa Valley. After that, travel through the Draa Valley to the village of Afraa. En route, we will make a stop at Tamgroute to see the underground Kasbah, the pottery, and the Koranic library. At last, we will resume our journey through the desert. Arrival will be at M’hamid. After having lunch on the spot, travel in the afternoon to Erg Chegaga, passing through Erg Hamada de Draa and stopping at the holy oasis before joining the Chegaga dunes. At the desert camp in the Erg Chegaga dunes, dinner and overnight stay are provided.

DAY 3: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriqui – Lmadwar Desert – Foum Zguid – Tata

Following breakfast, travel to Tata via the former Paris-Dakar route, the dry lake of Iriqui, and a breathtaking view of the Colorado Desert in Morocco (also known as “Lmadwar”) before arriving at Foum Zguid. After that, travel through the Aguinane oasis to reach Tata. Stay the night at a hotel or Riad in the center of Tata, a Berber city.

DAY 4: Tata – Ighrm – Anti Atlas – Oasis Tiout – Agadir

Following breakfast, travel to Agadir via the anti-atlas and the oasis of Tiout d’lghrom, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking scenery. A local restaurant serves lunch at the Tiout Oasis. Following lunch, we will continue our tour of Taroudante, often known as “little Marrakech,” where we will explore the city before continuing to Agadir in the afternoon.
