6 Days Tour from Agadir: Itinerary

DAY 1: Agadir – Tiznit – Mirleft – Legzira (200 km)

Meet at the Agadir airport or hotel at 9 a.m. and e we will start our 6-day tour from Agadir traveling south along the Atlantic coast. We are going to visit the Souss Massa natural reserve and then Tiznit, a city renowned for its exquisite jewelry and silverware. Continuation is along an Aglou beach, followed by a lunch break and a coastal road. After that, travel through the picturesque towns of Mirleft and Sidi Ifni to arrive at Legzira Beach. Spend the night in a nearby hotel.

DAY 2: Legzira – Tafraout – Taroudante (340 km)

We depart early in the morning, at 8 a.m., and travel through Guelmim, the entrance to the Sahara, and the foothills of the Anti-Atlas, where tiny oases and Berber villages are encircled by a beautiful mountainous Saharan landscape, before arriving in Taroudante, a small Marrakech. After taking a picture at the pint-sized granite rocks at Tafraoute’s entrance, which are encircled by enormous pink-white granite blocks, there will be a lunch break. Then, to get to Taroudante, we travel through a wide terrain of mountains and Argan trees. A night is at the Riad Hotel.

DAY 3: Taroudante – Taliouine – Zagora (380 km)

After an early breakfast, travel to Taroudante’s medina, which is known for its souks and walls. From there, proceed to Taliouine, the saffron capital, and have lunch while crossing the Kasbah el Glaoui. After visiting the ancient fort of Agdz, which served as a resting place for ancient caravans, we head to the Draa Valley, which boasts the longest river in the kingdom and the biggest palm grove globally, for some breathtaking views. Arriving will be in Zagora in the late evening and spending the night at the Riad Hotel.

DAY 4: Zagora – Tazzarine – Merzouga (300 km)

Departure is always at 9 a.m. for the desert Erg Chebbi from Zagora, the old caravan route connecting Marrakech and the south. We start with a tour of these fortified oases and pre-Saharan hours, followed by a drive to N’Koub, Tazzarine, and Alnif village, where we have lunch. The birthplace of the Alawite dynasty will stop by the tombs of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder, and his former ksar Abdel Halim after we arrive in Rissani before making our way to Merzouga’s golden dunes. Overnight will be in a private desert bivouac with camel rides, and a night in a traditional Kasbah hotel.

DAY 5: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou (240 km)

Following breakfast, we will travel through the Goulmima Oasis and the Todra Gorge Tinghir on our way to the valley and Dades Gorge. You will be given a tour of the climbing locations that are the most popular. Following lunch, we will travel further on Boumalne, following its intriguing valley to the bottom of the gorge. From there, we will travel via the road of a thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, also known as “The African Hollywood,” passing through the Taourirt Kasbah (the old Kasbah of Ouarzazate), the center of the studios, and the rose valley in Kelaat M’Gouna, the capital of roses. We will visit Fint, a nice hidden oasis amid the Anti-Atlas Mountains, after lunch. Road continuation leading to the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, situated in the Ounila Valley (the former route used by caravans carrying gold and salt…). Dinner and accommodation are in a Kasbah.

Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

You will drive to Marrakech after your lunch. This completes your 6 days tour from Agadir when you are dropped off at the airport of Marrakech. End of our services. For more details, don’t hesitate to contact us.
